Went to 21st party on Sat night at Elsie Newitts. Nothing great. Got fed up towards the close. Haven't seen Alice for ages. Thanks goodness we're having some rehearsals this week.
Had a practice Tuesday night for the play - only Ernie and Alice and I turned up - Endeavour instead. Had another last night (Thursday): Norman again acting on and making the playing difficult.
