11th - FJ's birthday. Washing day. Recited at Victoria Road United Methodists (4 times). Mr. Blaycock in the chair. Humorous homely man.

12th - bought FJ one of RLS books. To Endeavour. Gave a paper on prayer. Came home with Vincent. Heavenly night. House in Kensington Terrace. New hat.
