In hospital with scarlet fever.
7th - to Dr. to see about going to work tomorrow. He told me I had scarlet fever.
To fever hospital in van. Nurse Maryann and Brand. Strange experience. Little white bed and strangers. Nurse Woolf so nice. Cried softly face turned to wall.
8th - I cannot remember each day's experience in the hospital, but I will write a few brief notes.
'At 1/2 past 6 nurse cries 'serviettes out'. Breakfast arrives. Some grumble about the bacon'.
