Vincent. Sept 30th - Oct 4th, 1921

30th - choir practice for Sunday.

1st - went to Middlesbrough to see football match verses Cardiff - rotten game. Home (via Sedgefield for tea) 8pm. No practice for concert. Home to see Farnells - small practice.

2nd - great day at Greenbank. Rev. S Horton. President of conference. In choir in morning. Three service. Wrote Alice.

3rd - to Shildon by United bus to give concert. Rotten night. Did badly 1st half with exception of quantities. Fine 2nd half. Brought the place down. Then to Mr. Sloanes for a sing song.

Home midnight.

4th - broke down in car returning from Auckland. Father had rush to get to Richmond. Stayed in. Bed early. Rotton cold. Letter from Alice.
