Vincent. Oct 18th - 19th,1921.

18th - arranged to go and see Iolanthe at Shildon. Met Alice on the 7 train and met a lady at the station who took us down to the place. Jolly good show. Went to supper to Rylies and caught the 11.25 home. Carriage to ourselves and a glorious all too short ride. Lovely moonlight night so had a walk round til about 1 o'clock in the stillness of the night. One of the loveliest nights I've spent.
