8th - Wednesday night. Met Alice as usual. Rained of course but quite a good time until coming home. Suggested pictures on Friday night but no definite reply. Practically quarrelled over it. Was rather disappointed. Left each other rather abruptly. Invited to go with Alice to Millie Evangelis's 21st birthday picnic.
10th - went with Alice to the pictures. She rang up to say she would go after all so went second house court to see 'Admirable Crichton'.
11th - run on Bob's motor bike. Ernie here so he went up with me to meet Alice. Went as usual to our little spot in the wood. Much better.
