9th - good old Saturday once more. Usual walk with Alice up Walworth Road - further than usual this time. A admitted that last Saturday's bother was re. HVP as I thought and had decided this time not to come out any more with me. Got her persuaded however and think she will come next Sat.
10th - Mr and Mrs Farnell in to tea. Chapel and then to Croft by bus. Walked back with A, K and Elsie and Mr and Mrs Farnell. Usual jolly old time. Mr F and I changed plsces and he pulled A and I's leg terribly!
