11th - rang A up and she says right ho so ? for tomorrow night.

12th - what a lovely time. Met A at 7.20 and walked up Walworth Road. Ye gods she's great. In a horrible fix. Girl I don't know stopped me and pushed her autograph album into my hand. She's stopped me every day this week to ask after Granda - camoflage. Told Alice and discovered her name.

13th - walked to Croft with Poppy. Got drenched on the way so couldn't walk back to chapel. Tom and I yawning all night whilst the girls went to chapel. Learnt from Poppy that this girl was in a reformatory and is notvall quite all there. Came back bus.
